Letter Tet parade
February 1, 2010

This year the City of Westminster is excited to be hosting the 2010 TET Parade, the Year of the Tiger. The TET Parade is a community celebration that honors the city’s rich cultural heritage and shares the New Year’s spirit with thousands of people who attend and watch the festivities on television.
Due to the expense involved with putting on such a large and entertaining event the city is asking for local groups to pay a $100 fee and businesses to pay a $200 fee. These fees will be used to pay for police coverage, traffic engineering services, advertising, sanitation services and many other expenses associated with a parade of this size. The recent economic problems have made it even more important to have everyone involved with the parade contributing in putting on an event that the community is accustomed to expect.
We look forward to having your organization participate in this year’s parade. It is sure to be an enjoyable and enriching event for the community. If you have any questions please feel free to call me back at (714)895-2860, extension 575.
Thank You,
Greg Johnson
